Rodriguez Crashes 3 HR Against Flower Mound Sunday, August 27th , 2023 Whatever Luis Rodriguez ate for breakfast before his game against the Flower Mound Air Riders today, it gave him some impressive power. The Texas (AZL) center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. His home run barrage led the Rangers to take the 17-2 victory over the Air Riders. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 4 times, drove in 7 and put on a display that history will remember. Luis Rodriguez singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Won-bin Cho in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. This year Rodriguez is batting .233 with 16 home runs and 65 RBIs. In 113 games he has scored 55 times. |
