Early Season End for Cumare Saturday, May 11th , 2024 Clearly dejected, Wuilker Cumare left the New York A (GCL) clubhouse nearly in tears this afternoon. He acknowledged that his season is over after sustaining a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in a ballgame recently. It brings an early end to the New York A (GCL) center fielder's season. This year Cumare has collected a .125 batting average to date with 6 hits in 48 at-bats, 4 RBIs, no home runs and scored 3 times. He has played in 27 games. |
