Tigers Show No Mercy in 21-0 Thrashing of Yankees Sunday, June 9th , 2024 Juaron Watts-Brown kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Detroit (GCL) Tigers were all smiles after winning 21-0 against the New York A (GCL) Yankees at Hammond Stadium today. The right-handed Watts-Brown gave up no runs in his start, permitted 1 hit and had 10 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Watts-Brown said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
