Magicians Heading to Round 2

The Magic Valley Magicians said they felt the Round 1 with the Idaho Falls Spuds would go the distance.
But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Magic Valley advanced to the Round 2 with a 8-0 score, to clinch the series 4-2 at Highland Park.
"Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Willy Taveras, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the Round 2."
For the series, Taveras hit .385 with a .448 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Magic Valley Magicians will play against the Great Falls Voyagers in the next round. Great Falls won their series against the Butte Copper Kings 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
