Priest Tosses 6-0 Shutout Friday, June 22nd , 2001 Eddie Priest of the Butte Copper Kings was on top of his game. The 27-year-old tantalized the Ogden Spikes with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 6-0. "He had the changeup working," Ogden manager said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Butte hurler had 6 strikeouts, gave up 1 walk and surrendered 3 hits in his complete-game effort.
