Indians Deal Bulls 7-5 Loss
|
The Indianapolis Indians sent the home crowd home ecstatic.
The Indianapolis Indians beat the Durham Bulls by a score of 7-5. Indianapolis third baseman Carter Kieboom deserved the lion's share of the credit. Kieboom was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Indians. The Bulls, now 12-24, have lost 4 in a row.
Indianapolis won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Colton Hock on the mound for Durham, designated hitter Seth Beer hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Indians fans to their feet.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Indianapolis manager David Macias.
