The Toledo Mud Hens beat the Buffalo Bisons, 8-2. Toledo pitcher and Yorktown, Indiana, native John McGuire led the way. McGuire, now 5-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Buffalo is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.
