Andres Gimenez impressed in the 8-3 Indianapolis win over Pawtucket. Gimenez was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. The win puts the Indians at 29-32, while the Red Sox drop to 31-30.

The Red Sox had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Indians going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old center fielder David Larkin came to the plate. Larkin hit a 2-run double on a 1-2 cutter from Pawtucket hurler Michael Allen. It was Larkin's 5th double of the year.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Gimenez.
