RailRiders Drop IronPigs, 4-2
|
Scranton WB RailRiders starter Patrick Morris was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 4-2. Thomas Stewart locked down his 18th save. The RailRiders go to 46-69 with the win.
The outcome might have been different for Scranton WB, had it not been for Max Flora, the 24-year old first baseman . Flora stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Scranton WB up, 4-2. For the game, he was 4 for 5, including 1 double and 3 singles.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Flora.
