Syracuse and Scranton WB duked it out and the Chiefs came out victorious.

The Scranton WB RailRiders got a sterling performance from pitcher Alex Brink, but the Syracuse Chiefs still prevailed, 4-1. Brink threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win puts Syracuse at 45-71.

The Chiefs got a big at-bat from left fielder Jaylen Palmer. For the game, Palmer went 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 15th double of the season gave Syracuse a 2-1 lead.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Scranton WB manager Sal Fasano. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
