Red Wings Squelch Red Sox Offense in Shutout Win
The Rochester Red Wings went home winners at Frontier Field, thanks in large part to starter Joba Chamberlain. Chamberlain silenced the Pawtucket Red Sox, enabling Rochester to grab the 4-0 win. The winning pitcher was Chamberlain, now 4-6. He tossed 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. Jim Helms closed the game out for Rochester, earning his 5th save.

Erik Roberts swatted a 2-run home run for Rochester in the bottom of the sixth. The center fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 2.

"I felt good up there," said Roberts. "I saw the ball well."

The Red Wings improve their record to 63-73 with the win over Pawtucket.
