Led by Fernando Zapata, the Buffalo Bisons defeated the Syracuse Chiefs, 7-0. Zapata belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Bisons. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Syracuse.

Buffalo grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Zapata hit a solo home run. His 13th home run of the season put the Bisons out in front, 1-0.
