Toledo took on Durham in front of a lively crowd.

The Toledo Mud Hens beat the Durham Bulls by a score of 6-2. Toledo center fielder Maverick McIvor deserved the lion's share of the credit. McIvor went 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Mud Hens. Andrew Burke recorded the save, his 5th.

Toledo grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when McIvor hit a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season put the Mud Hens out in front, 5-2.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said McIvor.

The Mud Hens, now 9-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.
