The future looks extremely bright for Devin Lewis. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in International League.

Lewis has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the International League Hitter of the Year Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .317 this year, that's for sure," the catcher said.

The Syracuse Chiefs star also put up a .414 on-base percentage this year, with 120 hits, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 20 home runs, 67 RBIs and 71 runs scored.

He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 14. Jun Harada of the Louisville Bats finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Cameron Gundy of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs finished third.
