IL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, July 19th, 2021 So far in his young career, Ryan Ward has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the International League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Durham Bulls left fielder hit at a torrid .562 clip as he collected 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Ward is batting .320 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. In 27 games he has scored 19 times. |
