Canberra Hopeless Against Sailor Tuesday, July 27th , 2021 Tommy Sailor led the Newcastle Bombers to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Canberra Raiders at Newcastle Park today. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Sailor recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Sailor yielded 5 hits and had 4 strikeouts and no walks in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Canberra manager Richard Hager said.
