CBA Announces National Media Contract
The Championship Baseball Association today has announced a new media contract that will bring professional baseball back to a national television audience.
“We are excited to have the CBA in homes across North America. This is a huge step for our league,” said league spokesman Burt Butterfield. “We are also very pleased to have another stream of revenue for our teams as they continue to enhance their product.”
The CBA has reached a deal with ABC/ESPN to broadcast games nightly as well as a weekly marquee game on Sunday nights. According to the schedule, Premier League games will be aired on ESPN. Silver League games will air on ESPN2 and ESPN News. Bronze League games will be streamed on ESPN+. President’s Cup and Tournament of Champions games will also air on ESPN as well as the Finals on ABC.
