Lewis Hits for the Cycle Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at NBT Bank Stadium. Devin Lewis of the Syracuse Chiefs accomplished the feat against Pawtucket Red Sox. Lewis went 4-for-5 with 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run in the 14-0 Syracuse victory. "That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Lewis said after the game. Lewis also scored 2 runs and had 7 RBI in a day to remember for both Lewis and the crowd at NBT Bank Stadium. Devin Lewis hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Jason López in the 7th.
